A quiet dice table for your next game. Roll one to six six-sided dice, keep the results you want, and choose a material that feels like yours.

Roll the dice: Tap the roll button or give your phone a deliberate shake while the app is on screen.
Keep a result: Tap a die to hold it. Held dice stay put while the others roll. Tap again to release.
Make room for more: Use + to add a die, up to six. Use the − beside a die to remove it.
Choose your style: Open Settings → Dice style. Preview Classic Pearl, Midnight Obsidian, Ruby Red, Electric Sapphire, or Aurora Galaxy. All five use real 3D geometry. Your selection stays saved on this device.
Keep things quiet: Sound, haptics, and shake detection have separate controls. Reduce motion shows results without tumbling and respects your device’s accessibility setting.

A little help

Shaking does not roll

Enable Shake to roll in Settings, close Settings, and keep the app active. Tap-to-roll works without motion access. Some devices and simulators do not provide motion sensors. Held dice do not reroll.

I cannot hear or feel the dice

Check the app’s sound and haptics switches and your device volume. Haptic feedback depends on supported hardware and system settings. Shake Dice never records audio.

My preferences were reset

Preferences are stored locally. Removing the app, clearing its data, or restoring a device may reset them. Classic Pearl is the default. No account or cloud sync is needed.

Is a roll affected by its appearance?

No. Results are chosen using the platform’s secure random generator before the animation begins. Changing style changes the material only. Each face remains attached to the same six-sided 3D die throughout the roll.

Privacy policy

Shake Dice does not operate an app account system, advertising, tracking SDKs or a developer backend. Gameplay works offline. Purchases, product pricing and Restore Purchases use Apple StoreKit and may require connectivity.

Motion readings are processed locally to detect shakes and are not recorded or transmitted. Monitoring pauses while the app is inactive or Settings is open. Shake detection can be disabled.

Dice settings, appearance, names, selected Custom Face image copies, saved presets and local game progress remain on your device. Selecting a Custom Face opens the iOS Photos picker; the app receives only the images you select, normalizes them into bounded local copies and removes original photo metadata. It does not upload these images. Removing the app removes local data, subject to system backup/restore settings. Restoring Premium does not restore deleted local photos or presets.

Optional local usage diagnostics remain in memory and are not sent to a server. On-device purchase diagnostic logs record technical verification status, without account details, transaction identifiers, receipts or photos; Shake Dice does not upload these logs. The app does not access location, contacts, camera, microphone or advertising identifiers. Bundled sound playback does not record audio.

Apple processes payments and verifies purchase ownership under its own privacy policy. Shake Dice does not receive your payment-card details. Apple may also process platform diagnostics according to your device settings.

This support website is separate from the app. Hosting providers process network information needed to serve its pages, such as IP address and browser request. The site has no added advertising, analytics, forms or tracking scripts and receives no dice rolls, Custom Faces or preferences.
